Icon Inspired Mixed Media Painted Panels.

In this intensive workshop day, explore layering and aging by making your own painted wooden panel icon. Using crackle glazes, textured surfaces, acrylics, gold metal leaf and aging techniques, you will have the great fun of exploring paint and texture in layers to make a painting inspired by old icons and fragments of plaster frescoes that feel old and magical. All materials and refreshments plus a light lunch are included.
